Justin Talks to PopCandiesTV

Pop Candies TV caught up with Justin Tranter, Mama Tranter and Jimmy Knehans at Voyeur in West Hollywood.  Justin talked about the new weekly party Semi Precious Weapons be hosting in L.A. whilst recording their new album.

The "Rock & Roll - Porn Extravaganza" will likely be hosted at the Roxy, a venue that has housed many memorable SPW shows.  After which he and the rest of the boys will jump back in the groove of the Monster Ball Tour in April with Lady GaGa.

Check out the video above to see the new tattoos as well as some FFGHS (Fierce Fucking Glitter Heel Shots)

Quote of the Day!

Interviewer: Who are you listening to these days?
Greyson: "I always listen to 20 songs before I go to bed. Journey, Mötley Crüe, Kiss, David Bowie, Semi-Precious Weapons [Gaga's foul-mouthed punk opening act]."
Interviewer: So your parents let you listen to Semi-Precious Weapons?
Greyson: Oh, yeah. Most of the time they don't know.
Interviewer: You are growing up fast.

STICKKKKKKAYYYYYYYY

It's OK, it's our birthday.  A year ago today, Jawsh and I (A.J.) started our Semi Precious Weapons' Fansite.
We started with 3 Followers: Jawsh, myself, and Semi Precious Weapons.  Now we've grown quite a bit. (Not as much as we would ideally like, but we'll take it :) )

We don't expect anyone to read this WHOLE post.  But it's nice to take a trip down memory lane.

Jawsh and myself have been super SPW fans ever since high school.  Jawsh introduced me to their music, in his broke down sable and at the time we just called them country-glam.  We were the fucked up high school kids that loved to talk shit and act like girls and Semi Precious Weapons was basically the soundtrack of our lives.  We had bought tickets to the Perez Hilton Presents tour in KC but couldn't make the trip so we never thought we would get the chance to see them live. Until the end of 2009, when we heard they were opening for the Monster Ball.  We had to get tickets. We couldn't afford front row tickets since they were meet & greet, so we made a joint bank account at Bank of America and put all of our money in ($340.00) and bought the two front-row tickets ($700.00) and made payments on our overdraft fees.  WE WERE SO DESPERATE TO GO!

We finally made it to St. Louis for the MB after driving through a snow storm on January 7th, 2010 and it was  time for the show to start.  The security guards told us we couldn't stand during the show because, as he put it, "this band's bassist is REAL crazy and he likes to swing around his instrument" so Jawsh and I started the show in our seats..until Dan, Stevy, and Cole started pounding out the intro to 'Semi Precious Weapons'. Justin came out and it was all over. We were starstruck.  He handed the microphone to myself and Jawshua during 'Magnetic Baby' and we got to scream out the lyrics at the top of our lungs.  WE FELT LIKE FUCKING SUPERSTARS.  And that feeling still hasn't stopped.

We drove back home and realized how much we fucking love this band, and we totally wanted to make a site ASAP. And Voila! We have since got to hand deliver champagne to the boys and meet mama/papa tranter. Who, if you're reading this, are AMAZINGLY nice people!

Anywho.. point being is we love these boys. And we love you too. And more importantly, You Love You.
Let's have another great year!
